Volunteer Now – Parent Coaches Needed!!

To better recognize the volunteer Head Coaches in the House League Program, WMSC is offering a $50.00 Coaching Credit to those who successfully complete the full season which can be used toward future programming

The Game Leader program creates opportunities for parents to get involved with their child’s sport, and has been designed by Ontario Soccer Grassroots, Referee and Coaching departments. It is supported and endorsed by the Canadian Soccer Association.

The Coach will be trained to achieve a few objectives on the field:

  • Enable children to have a fun and rewarding experience while competing in small sided games.
  • Ensure player safety.
  • Implement simplified rules while keeping the game moving — limiting stoppages and assisting the young players with all restarts.

Completing the Game Leader training is very simple. The entire online process of watching the video, completing the quiz, printing your Game Leader Certificate and printing/saving your Game Leader booklet should take no longer than 35 minutes.

Coaches, if you are not the primary account holder in the Power Up registration system,  you are required to have an individual account with a unique email address. Once you have created your profile you can volunteer with the club by clicking the VOLUNTEER NOW -> Team Official Application in the main menu. Returning volunteers – please use your current coaching profile.
