BIPOC EQUITY SCHOLARSHIP
The club is pleased to announce the creation of the Waterloo United ‘BIPOC Equity Scholarship’. This scholarship will assist players who otherwise would not be able to play soccer, by providing financial support. This scholarship is available to new and existing members and will focus on players from the Black, Indigenous and People of Colour communities. Our strategy aims to ensure that all youth have the opportunity, motivation, and access to play soccer – regardless of their race, ethnicity, sex, or ability. It is important that Waterloo United becomes a leader in implementing meaningful change in our community as we work towards achieving the goal of racial equality.
