2026 Trial Registration Link
There are 3 phases for OPDL trials. A brief summary is below but you can find the extensive guideline here.
Phase 1 (Sept 2- Oct 20) – Athletes that are not currently part of an OPDL team (e.g. District and iModel) may be invited to join our practices to trial for the 2026 team. A REMINDER to all of our current OPDL players that you are not permitted to trial in Phase 1 elsewhere as per the contract date of October 21st, the start of Phase 2 (Only U17 girls is October 28th).
Phase 2 (Oct 21- Feb 22) – Trials open for all athletes from any club. Current OPDL athletes who want to trial for a different club may need to seek a release from their club before trialing. Information announcing these trial dates will come from the club.
Phase 3 (Feb 23- April 4) – Open/invitation trials as needed to help complete the team roster. We are not relying on Phase 3 to create our teams – this would only be as players move, adding to boost the current roster, etc.
