Waterloo United uses this stage to teach young players ages 4-11 the fundamentals of technical skills and reinforce the game’s love for players of all backgrounds and ability levels.
On the field, players are given fun, enjoyable, creative training opportunities that develop and emphasize technically proficient players. While the sessions are enjoyable, setting the players up for success over the long term is essential. This foundation is critical for success in competitive soccer.
This player-centered pathway approach considers that every player has their own speed at which they develop. Facilitated by our club instructors, the environment at training will be challenging yet fun. Players will find themselves in situations where they will become problem solvers giving them a much more superior soccer I.Q.
NOTE** To register for the Skills Development program, players MUST be registered in the 2026 Outdoor Recreational Program. You cannot register just for the Skills Development program. Spaces in this program are limited. Register early to avoid disappointment.
