The Waterloo Minor Soccer Club will be hosting its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, December 12th, 2019, at RIM Park in Riviera Room (2nd floor). Registration will open at 6:00 pm, the meeting will be called to order at 7:00 pm.
The members attending the AGM will receive Annual Reports and Season in Review. If there are no suggested changes to the Club Constitution and By-Laws, the meeting will be conducted under the revised December 9, 2015, Constitution and By-laws.
Members will elect up to 6 (six) directors to the board for a two-year term ending in 2021. Nominations will be accepted starting November 1, 2019. Director nominations, in writing, will be accepted until November 22nd, at 5:00 PM EST, at the WMSC office to the attention of Mr. Paul Burns or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Every member is entitled to vote at the meeting of the members and may, by means of a proxy, appoint a proxy holder, or one or more alternate proxy holders, to attend and vote on behalf of the Member. The proxy holder need not be a member. To assign a proxy, please complete the “Proxy Policy and Form”. The deadline for receipt of Proxy Forms, required in writing is December 5, 2019, by 5:00 PM EST at the WMSC main office at RIM Park. Only Proxies sealed in envelopes and delivered in-person to Mr. Paul Burns will be accepted. Advance voting will also be available to members. All advance voting forms will be accepted from December 9 to December 10 at the WMSC office between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM sealed in envelopes delivered in-person to Mr. Paul Burns.
All attendees at the AGM and advance voting Members must present a photo ID that will be used for verifying and recording Members and proxy holders and for recording attendance of visitors.
