The highlight of the season was an emphatic 5-2 win over Darby FC. For 2022, the Women’s team will be taking part in the Premier Division

Overall thoughts on last season and upcoming 2022 season

“With the Covid-19 pandemic hitting us last year we weren’t sure about having a League One season. We were very happy to see how everyone rallied together – the team at League One Ontario, Waterloo United and all other participating clubs and governing bodies – to make this happen. We were glad to see many players from all over Ontario and out of province come in and play, as well as welcoming Waterloo Minor Soccer, Kitchener Soccer, and Cambridge Youth Soccer players to the team. It was great for the team and club to be able to reunite with one of its academy graduates, Delaney Rickert-Hall, who brings experience to this level of football. We encourage all local talent to attend upcoming trials. Contact the club for any information regarding trials, and send us an email if you have any questions for us. Our door is always open. We are looking forward to the 2022 season, working closely with the Reserves team, and solidifying the pathway for younger players!” – John O’Brien
