How do I register my child for the Indoor 2018-19 season?
WMSC is utilizing Power Up Sports as the Club’s exclusive online registration service provider. All registrations must be processed through this system. New registrants will need to create an account; previous members can log in using their established username and password. If you require assistance contact Reid Calder or call 519-578-9680 ext. 1.

I don’t know/have forgotten my password?
If you have forgotten/don’t know your password use the ”Password Reset” system located in the lower right side of the
Power Up Sports login-page and follow the steps to change your password. An email will be automatically sent with a link to reset your password. If you still cannot access your account contact WMSC.

How can I view my child’s schedule?
Schedules for the Indoor 2018-19 season will be available early October. To view your child’s schedule log into your Power Up Sports account. Select the Family Calendar option to the left of your screen. The family calendar can be printed, downloaded to your calendar or emailed.

When does the season begin?
The Indoor Recreational Program begins, in October, after Thanksgiving and runs until March Break, depending on the age group. The Outdoor Recreational seasons begins early May and runs to the end of July depending on the age group.

Is it possible to request that my child is placed on a team with a friend?
WMSC will make every effort to accommodate placement on a team with ONE other registered player if submitted by the September 21st deadline. All teammate requests must be one-to-one reciprocated requests. One-sided requests will not be considered. Should you have special circumstances or medical conditions that merit special consideration, please provide a note in writing once your registration has been completed. WMSC Teammate Request Policy

How can I volunteer?
WMSC relies on the generosity of volunteer coaches for our Recreational House League soccer programs. Volunteering is a terrific way to get involved in soccer, while at the same time supporting your club and your community. What equipment must I provide for my child to play soccer?
The Club provides a full uniform for the U4 – U19  indoor recreational program. Shin guards are mandatory for all ages and all programs indoor and outdoor. Footwear shall be indoor soccer shoes or outdoor cleats. Running shoes are not recommended.  Soccer fun may wear running shoes. No item of jewellery may be worn on the field (medic alert excluded). Earrings must be removed; taping of earrings is not permitted. Hard casts are not permitted.

How will I know if soccer is canceled due to weather?
Throughout the winter months’ games or practices may be canceled due to inclement weather. Should fields or facilities be closed the WMSC website will be updated by 4:00 pm and a general email will be sent to those divisions affected by any closures. How is a payment made?
Online payments may be made by Visa, Mastercard  We will accommodate payments by Cash, Cheque, Debit or financial assistance, in our RIM Park Office  Please note, registrations are not considered complete until payment has been received.

Is any kind of financial assistance available?
The City of Waterloo Fee Assistance Leisure Access Program is a program of financial support for permanent residents with low income living in Waterloo, that helps individuals participate in City of Waterloo recreational and affiliated minor sport and arts programs. The assistance is given in the form of a credit to eligible individuals. Eligibility is based on total family income. Waterloo Minor Soccer Club wishes to acknowledge the contributions of the Canadian Tire Foundation for Families Jumpstart Program.
