Sam Gevaux

Sam is from the UK, recently moving to Canada. Sam holds a B.Sc (Hons) in Sport Coaching and M.Sc. in Sport Coaching, both attained from Leeds Beckett University. Sam currently holds the UEFA ‘B’ and CSA ‘B’ licenses as well as the FA Youth Award. Sam most recently worked as the head coach of the University of York Women’s soccer program in the UK, In 2017 Sam won coach of the year and helped guide the team to their highest finish in the club’s history.
During this time, Sam also worked as an Academy coach at premier league side Hull City’s. Other recent roles have included the head of coaching and recruitment at All-Star Football Academy and Coach Education Mentor at Leeds Beckett University. In 2018, Sam will be undertaking the CSA ‘A’ Licence.

Andrew Beney

Andrew started refereeing when he was 13 years old with Waterloo Minor Soccer.
Andrew currently, is in the Regional Upgrading Program with Ontario Soccer and has refereed in League1 Ontario, OUA, OCAA, the Ontario Summer Games, OSL and OWSL. He took the position of Match Official Manager with Waterloo in 2018, wanting to bring his referee experience and knowledge to help develop WMSC referees. Andrew is currently completing hisJ.D. at the University of Western Faculty of Law.

Keyshia Martin

Keyshia recently graduated from the Recreation and Leisure Services program at Conestoga College. She plays soccer at the recreational level and ringette at the provincial level. Keyshia is also a member of the Guelph Ringette Association’s Coach and Player Development Committee as well as the Lead Goalie Instructor in Guelph. She is currently completing her NCCP Ringette Competition Introduction coaching certification. Keyshia looks forward to using her ringette experience in a soccer environment and gaining new skills at WMSC.
