KICK OFF TO SUMMER 2023 – RECREATIONAL SKILLS PROGRAM
This program is ideal for soccer players ages 3-12, who wish to enhance their skills, and for players who are new to the sport and would like to learn and gain more experience on the field.
Throughout this program, each session will focus on the development of individual skills (ex. footwork, passing, shooting) as players work though a curriculum development by WMS’s Technical Staff. We aim to keep it fun, keep players engaged, and develop a love for the game.
Each session will end with a short small-sided scrimmage within the player’s designated group. Please note that the recreational skills program is not administered in a team/game setting and as such no teammate requests will be accepted.
Spaces are limited. Register early to avoid disappointment.
** Players in the developmental and competitive program cannot register for this program **

PROGRAM MODIFICATION (if required):
If in the event government mandates do not allow for game play at any point throughout the season, sessions to be adjusted to ensure distance is maintained and all mandates are met.
A focus will be put on play-based physical literacy through fun activities both with and without a soccer ball. While players may have to remain distanced, playing with teammates and friends is a key component of the program so interactive drills while remaining safely apart will be implemented.
The recreational skills program is not administered in a team/game setting and as such no teammate requests will be accepted.
